“The Bach to School Bash is the first social of the year, and it's the first time you get an opportunity to compete against other pods and possibly win pod points. There was pizza, snacks, and games for all who attended. In addition, it was hosted at Frisco Commons park which has huge fields and a pavilion area that we used. When I first got there, I played badminton with some of my friends as we waited for more people to arrive and for the food to be ready. Once the food was ready, my friends and I ate the pizza and then walked for a bit. We then played badminton again until we were called to go to the big field where we played a big game of red light green light. After this, we got with our pods and competed in a team activity where we had to pass water over our head to a bucket at the end. After this was my favorite activity which was the massive tug-of-war. There are multiple rounds such as freshmen vs seniors, upper vs lower strings, and much more. The best part though, was that the freshmen absolutely decimated the upper class men which was really fun to be a part of. Lastly we took pictures and then had a giant snowball fight, and after that I went home. Overall it was a really fun experience and I recommend that everyone go because it's the first social of the year and the first time you get to compete with your pod.”

“Bach to School Bash is Liberty Orchestra’s biggest and most attended social of the year. It’s also one of my favorites because there’s so, so, so much food including pizza, chips, and cookies. At the social, I got to meet a lot of freshmen and I also talked with my pod members a lot. It was really fun to meet the rest of the people in my pod, and we all got along very well just in a few minutes. I would definitely recommend this social to others because there are so many fun activities like tug of war and the water bucket game. You are also provided with food and you get the chance to meet so many new people. Overall, I felt like this social was very, very fun and I think everyone in the orchestra should come to this social.”

I would like to talk about my interests and some of the things that happened during the Back to School Bash. The event was filled with excitement and a variety of activities that made it a memorable experience. One of the highlights was the number of games we got to play. For example, we participated in tug of war, which really brought out the competitive spirit in everyone. We also played classic games like red light green light, which was both fun and nostalgic. Another surprising game was the snowball fight with real snow; it was pretty surprising in the middle of the summer to play with actual snow. This game made a lot of people target a specific person of theirs, which mine was Alex Suzuki and some of my friends. Plus I really enjoyed spending time with my pod members during the event, which I thought playing games together really helped bring us closer and made the experience even more enjoyable.
Alongside all the fun and games, there was plenty of food and drinks available. Although the food was great, what stood out the most to me was the water. To give some extra info, I drank more than 20 bottles of water during the social.
Overall, I liked how it included a variety of games for everyone to enjoy, along with plenty of water. It was a great way to start the school year and made me even more excited about what's to come afterwards.

“The Bach to School Bash was so much fun! We started out just gathering around and chilling, I know that I and some other friends were just chilling around playing clash royale. Eventually though, they got us together to do some red light green light. It wasn't all too crazy except for when my friend Daniel Natividad started throwing out a bag of Doritos as bait to move, which was pretty funny. After the red light green light, they got us in our pods to do some sort of water cup assembly line thing, which was especially entertaining whenever the group next to us did everything in their power to cheat and win. That game wasn't necessarily fair at all, but it was really funny. After that we had dinner with pizza and a lot of snacks. After dinner, we did some tug of war, in which in a crazy turn of events, the freshmen actually ended up beating the seniors. At the very end of the social, we did a snowball fight with real snow, which was a lot of fun; there ended up being a lot of targeting, and I know that I specifically went after Alex Suzuki a lot. I would also like to mention that my friend drank like 20 bottles of water throughout the whole social.”

“Bach to School Bash is one of my favorite socials of the year because it is one of the most attended and it really brings us together as an orchestra! During our tug a war fights and talking with other people, it really feels like we are part of a community! And of course the loads of food we have is always a highlight! But overall, Bach to School Bash is definitely one of the best socials of the year!”
